Hari Nanda

Building the embedded systems that run onboard the vessel itself, on constrained compute that has to keep working through salt air, vibration, and long stretches with no shore connection. With 8 years across mechatronics and robotics engineering, Hari brings mechanical design, electronics and custom PCBs, and real-time firmware together as one working system, with a focus on embedded systems and the sensor, power, and motor-control electronics around them. His work spans custom board design, real-time firmware, and integration across device networks such as CAN bus, the same work it takes to put intelligence onto real vessel hardware and connect it to the hundreds of systems already aboard. At Pollentia, Hari focuses on the embedded layer, building the onboard compute and firmware that make the platform reliable enough to run at sea.
