Everything you need to know about Pollentia, Models, Sales, and more.

What is Pollentia?

Pollentia is an electric boat manufacturer focused on building high-performance, smart vessels that outperform traditional gas and diesel-powered boats. Our mission is to lead the shift toward cleaner, more intelligent marine mobility across recreational, commercial, industrial, and defense sectors.

Are there known issues or recent updates?

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet consectetur vel pharetra nulla a varius ac cras et est nec elementum ut facilisi tortor mi duis non.

When was Pollentia founded?

Pollentia was founded in 2021 with a vision to rethink what marine performance could look like in an all-electric future. Since then, we’ve grown into a fast-moving team committed to innovation, sustainability, and real-world utility.

Who is behind Pollentia?

Pollentia was founded by Tyler Temple and Ivan Shterev — a duo combining expertise in systems engineering, electrical hardware, naval operations, and sustainable mobility. Together, they’re leading the charge in transforming marine transportation from the ground (and water) up.

Where is Pollentia based?

Pollentia operates from three key locations:

Dallas, TX – Our headquarters and main operations center

Austin, TX – A hub for innovation, networking, and government-corporate partnerships

New York City, NY – Our business and investor relations base

What does “Pollentia” mean?

The name “Pollentia” comes from Latin, meaning power and strength — a reflection of the performance, durability, and purpose behind every vessel we build.

Is Pollentia focused only on recreational boats?

No. While our early platform is built around recreational marine innovation, Pollentia is actively expanding into:

Commercial vessels for transit and tourism

Industrial utility boats for fleet and worksite applications

Defense watercraft for high-performance, mission-ready operations

What makes Pollentia different from other electric boat companies?

Pollentia isn’t just building electric boats — we’re building a smarter marine future rooted in performance, purpose, and people.

What sets us apart:

Advanced propulsion systems engineered for power, efficiency, and reliability

Smart onboard technologies, including AI-assisted navigation, diagnostics, and safety tools

Platforms designed to scale across recreational, commercial, and defense applications

A leadership team with real-world experience in naval operations, engineering, and clean mobility

But above all, we’re a people-first company. We believe the future of marine transportation must serve communities, ecosystems, and industries alike. That’s why we take bold initiative — not just to electrify the water, but to help create a cleaner, stronger, and more sustainable world.

What kind of technology is integrated into Pollentia vessels?

Pollentia vessels are designed from the ground up with a focus on performance, intelligence, and reliability. Our platforms integrate advanced electric propulsion, real-time AI-assisted systems, and a seamless onboard user experience that redefines how boaters interact with their vessel.

What is the Pollentia dashboard system?

Our custom-built Pollentia dashboard is a full-width, interactive control system that merges performance data, navigation, energy management, and safety features into a single, intuitive interface. It’s designed to feel futuristic without being complicated — offering clarity, responsiveness, and real-time insights while underway.

Think of it as the command center of the vessel: sleek, powerful, and tailored to how people actually move on the water.

Is your technology developed in-house?

Yes — Pollentia is proud to develop the majority of our core systems in-house. This includes our dashboard UI/UX, battery management architecture, and vessel control software. Keeping technology development internal allows us to move faster, innovate with more control, and ensure every feature is purpose-built for marine use.

Do you work with external partners?

Absolutely. While much of our system design is in-house, we’ve also built a network of strong strategic partnerships with leading firms in hardware, battery technology, AI systems, and manufacturing. These relationships give us access to cutting-edge components, testing environments, and integration support — helping us bring the best of both worlds to every Pollentia vessel.

What makes Pollentia’s tech approach different from others?

We focus on total system design — meaning we don’t just bolt on electric motors or retrofit existing hulls. Every layer of a Pollentia vessel is engineered to work in harmony:

Electric propulsion with precision-tuned performance

Smart dashboard for integrated navigation, safety, and diagnostics

Energy systems that balance speed and range efficiently

AI co-captain functionality for real-time support

It’s not about adding tech — it’s about building smarter vessels from the inside out.

What kind of batteries power Pollentia vessels?

Pollentia vessels are powered by marine-grade, high-capacity lithium-ion battery modules designed for demanding conditions. These modular systems offer flexibility in configuration, allowing us to tailor power output based on vessel type, performance needs, and intended use — from recreational cruising to high-endurance commercial operations.

How long does it take to charge a Pollentia vessel?

Charging time depends on the specific battery setup and available charging infrastructure. We aim to provide realistic expectations for our owners:

Standard Shore Power (Level 2 / 240V AC): Typically 6–12 hours for a full charge, depending on battery size.

Fast DC Charging: When high-output charging is available, vessels can reach 80% in roughly 3.5 to 4.5  hours, depending on configuration and onboard systems.

Charging times may vary due to environmental conditions, use cases, and power draw during operation. High-performance models may require larger battery packs and extended charging cycles.

Where can I charge a Pollentia boat?

All Pollentia vessels are compatible with standard marina shore power connections, making them accessible at most marinas and docks for overnight or slow charging. For high-usage and commercial needs, fast charging infrastructure is recommended.

We are currently developing and supporting the rollout of dedicated fast-charging stations across key marine corridors in the United States and internationally. These systems are designed to reduce downtime, improve range confidence, and support the next generation of electrified marine mobility — from coastal hubs to inland waterways.

How is Pollentia addressing sustainability in its materials and production?

Sustainability is a core value at Pollentia, and it influences everything we build:

Eco-conscious materials: We’re integrating marine-safe composites that are recyclable, non-toxic, and built for long-term durability — reducing lifecycle waste.

Low-waste manufacturing: Our design and production process uses modular fabrication, precision components, and optimized workflows to minimize waste at every stage.

Energy-conscious systems: Our onboard energy management tech is designed to maximize efficiency and reduce unnecessary power draw while maintaining performance.

Lifecycle thinking: From design to disposal, we consider the full lifespan of each vessel and component — prioritizing serviceability, reusability, and recycling.

Is Pollentia carbon neutral?

Not yet — but we’re actively working toward it. As we scale our production and operations, we are implementing strategies to reduce emissions, offset environmental impact, and transition to lower-carbon supply chains. Our goal is to ensure that both our vessels and our business contribute to a more sustainable marine future — not just through electrification, but through every decision we make along the way.
